Where to stay in Brussels: Renaissance Brussels Hotel

When I was planning my first time visiting Brussels, I was looking for accommodation close to the city centre with nice restaurants and bars nearby. Renaissance Hotel Brussels has that and much more. Read below to find out about my experience and all details you need to know.

Brussels

Location

Hotel has a perfect location, it is located in the buzzing neighbourhood of Ixelles with many restaurants and bars just around the corner. It is also 15 minutes walk away from the Royal Palace, which is perfect for sightseeing and exploring Belgium capital.

Accommodations

Hotel offers many types of rooms from Deluxe to Executive. I highly recommend the Club rooms, which have access to the Club lounge, where you can refresh yourself with drinks and snacks. We stayed in the Club King room and it was bright and spacious with all things necessary. Wifi is complimentary and the signal was strong.

Dining

Breakfast buffet served in The Poet restaurant is very good, especially the waffles, pancakes and selection of jams. They are so delicious. Great selection of fresh juices. The Poet restaurant is open also for lunch, dinner and cocktail hour.

Relaxation

Renaissance Hotel Brussels offers for their guests access to a swimming pool, sauna and gym. Where you can relax after a day of work or exploration in Brussels. Swimming pool is very spacious for a hotel pool, while the sauna and gym are on a smaller size.

Ambience

Hotel features modern and vibrant interior design with perfect attention to details. I especially loved all the colours and details used in the lobby and in the club lounge.

Customer service

We were greeted with a big smile upon arrival and overall all the staff I encountered during my stay was very friendly, efficient and professional. I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel prior to check in and after the check out, which was very helpful, so I could wander off to explore the beauties of the city.

Would I come back?

Absolutely, I had a great time in Renaissance hotel Brussels. Location is the key here, walking distance everywhere, which is exactly what I like.
